As a full-time business owner and busy mother of two children, both under the age of two, feeding my family healthy meals is an absolute priority in my life. However finding healthy recipes that my family will actually eat used to be a challenge.

I recently was told by my Naturopath Doctor that I needed to go Paleo…cold turkey! I panicked, cried, freaked out, cried some more and had to be talked off the ledge. I didn’t know any super healthy recipes or where to buy ingredients.

Everyday in my practice I tell at least 2-3 families that their child is at risk for obesity and its related complications. I have them return to the office with a 3 day diet history and it is incredible to see what these kids are eating – just complete junk… Goldfish snacks, Gatorade, and boxed mac and cheese just to name a few.

As a medical doctor its so difficult to find that line of not overwhelming these families by bombarding them with too much medical facts and making them feel defensive while still stressing the importance of change.

I’m going to start recommending Diana's blog and recipe book to my patients. I wish I could personally help more with the cause, but between my practice and my own time spent cooking for my family, all I can do is tell more people about her blog and recipes.
