Very helpful guide for busy moms
posted this review on July 1, 2014

Frugal Mom's Guide to Once a Month Cooking has been a very helpful guide for me. It helps me feed my family good food despite my busy schedule as a real estate consultant. A lot of my coworkers wonder how I manage to feed my family real food, while working overtime almost every day, and this is the answer. Even my husband can prepare the food for them because they’re just packed and ready to go! Don’t doubt the freshness, though! If you follow the techniques here, you’ll always be serving your family fresh food even if you cook only once a month.

Both moms and kids will surely love this way of cooking

I can’t believe it’s possible to cook only once a month and still ensure good nutrition for your family. I was a little bit skeptical with the idea of cooking once a month, but I was desperate to give my family good nutrition, so I tried Frugal Mom's Guide to Once a Month Cooking. It’s really easy if you follow the instructions. I believe that all moms should enjoy this type of cooking for the family. I’m pretty sure kids will love it too.

Amazing life hack!
Jennifer Bradley (from Corpus Christi, USA) posted this review on September 5, 2013

As a new mom, I’m still learning life hacks from the Internet and from other sources. My husband and I are very modern, but I still want to be a good mom to my 2 year old daughter and my 7 year old stepson. I love them both so much and I want to give them the kind of caring my mom gave me before. Of course, mom wasn’t working when I was a young girl, and that makes a difference. Being a working mom is twice the challenge. Even if I can’t be around them all the time, at least I make sure to cook good food for them, and that’s where Frugal Mom's Guide to Once a Month Cooking comes in. The tips in this book are very practical and really really easy to follow. I just cook 2 weekends a month, and I can serve good food to my family all the time. Of course I do gourmet cooking for them every now and then, but this is still valuable for their everyday meals. Sometimes, when I can’t come home in time for dinner, my husband just reheats what I’ve cooked for them and the kids still get a good dinner!

Candace should get an award for this!

Candace should get an award for this guide. She’s the heroine of working moms like me! I’ve been following her blog for quite some time because her tips are always amazing. I think she’s born to be an awesome mom. Her Frugal Mom's Guide to Once a Month Cooking has made my life so much easier. I’ve been a working mom for 3 years, and before I found Candace’s book, I nourished my family with MSG-laden fastfood. It made me feel bad as a mom, but I had no choice because my fulltime job is really demanding. The recipes in this guide are freezer friendly, yet so delicious. I have 2 Saturdays a month for cooking, and then they just heat them up when I’m not around. Most of the recipes here are easy to cook and inexpensive. All moms should really try following Candace’s lead.

All moms should try this for good nutrition

I’m proud to be a working mom of three who values good nutrition. My kids eat only homemade food and I don’t break a sweat preparing for them because I know the techniques in Frugal Mom's Guide to Once a Month Cooking. This is really smart, and all moms out there should give this a try for the sake of good nutrition!

Candace has a lot of smart tips
Georgia Bower (from Talco, USA) posted this review on January 20, 2013

Candace is really smart! I wish I found out about her and her book earlier. Her cooking tips save me a lot of time and money. Before, I spend the entire day rushing from office to the house to prepare the kids’ meal. Before, we got plenty of fast food days, and that made me feel sorry for the kids. They love my cooking so much but back then I could only cook for them on weekends. There were day when their dad would come home from work with his own food. It made me feel like a failure as a mom and a wife. Frugal Mom's Guide to Once a Month Cooking changed everything for the family. Now, I can serve them my delicious cooking every night. They’re always excited to come home for dinner, even my husband. He doesn’t buy his own food anymore. I’m also confident now that my family is eating healthy good. And of course, we save money. We always get some food budget left at the end of the month that we use weekends out!

All moms should check this out!

You might think it’s impossible to feed your family good food by cooking only once a month, but that certainly isn’t true! You can actually feed your family real food even if you’re a busy mom using this guide from Candace. I was surprised at the wealth of information her guide has. I’ve never thought of those things myself even if I’ve been a working mom for nearly 15 years. It’s really the best way to save on time and money, while making sure that your family gets to eat healthy. There are so many delicious recipes included in her guide that it functions as a recipe book as well. I do not use other recipe guides aside from this one, since my family loves all the dishes in here! The past part is that Candace’s instructions are so easy to follow. It’s like having a personal cooking coach guiding you through every step. I’ve nothing but praises for this product, and I think all mom’s out there, busy or not, should go check this out.

So many benefits!

I really don’t have much time for cooking, but I’m afraid to serve my family preservative-laden foods, so when I found this book, I grabbed it right away. The tips are great and the recipes are superb! The first time I tried it, I had some minor difficulties, since I’ve never done it before, but seeing my family enjoy sumptuous homemade meals every night, just kept me going. When I  got used to this new cooking system, everything became easier. I’m so happy seeing my husband excited every time he comes home. He always wants to know what I had prepared for the family. The kids are also happy with the recipes saying that they’re so delicious. I also noticed that I’m saving a lot on the family’s food budget. I never thought that shifting to real food would be much cheaper than ordering from fast foods and buying heat and serve goods.

Awesome recipes

I made and froze the English Muffin Pizzas last week, and last night after coming home my husband heated up half a dozen for him and the boys - all three loved them! My husband said they were vey good, bottom was crispy and they tasted fresh.

Just take it and heat it.

We will definitely do the Mexican Beef Casserole again - it was easy to prepare as well as put together for dinner. We all enjoyed it - there wasn't enough leftover to have for lunch the next day. I would say that tells how much we all liked it! And it was so easy - just take it out from the fridge and heat it!
