Guitar Alliance is a membership-only site dedicated to teaching you how to play the guitar. The site members have access to over 1000 lessons, that cover everything from theory (scales, chords, arpeggios, music theory), to playing with different instrument or in a different style (electric lead guitar, electric rhythm, acoustic lead and rhythm guitar, slide guitar and finger picking), they will teach you the most basic stuff, like how to tune your guitar and read music notation, and they'll show you how to play specific songs. The Guitar Alliance site will also give you lots of exercises to practice with. These will help you increase your speed and endurance, and strengthen your fingers.
GuitarAlliance members will also get 100s of audio examples, over 2000 diagrams, tablatures, charts and pictures, a huge chord library and all the essential scales and arpeggio patterns. Increasingly more lessons and examples are now also accompanied with their own videos, so you'll see exactly how you need to play it. Because of all the material included, Guitar Alliance promises to take your guitar playing to a whole new level.

BEWARE!!
This is not a review of the content of the Guitar Alliance web site, but rather a review of the customer service it provides.
I've been trying to reach Guitar Alliance's "Web Master" Kenny Mann to cancel my subscription. However, unlike the lightning fast response I received when I signed up for the montly membership, Kenny Mann is not answering my e-mails. All I want from Kenny Mann is a confirmation that he's received my message and that he will discontinue my monthly payments. However I'm being completely ignored and have yet to receive a response after 5 requests. I guess I'll have to spend even more time now and go to through my credit card company in order to stop payment. And you wonder why people are hesitant about dealing with on line companies that don't have a real address and won't supply a phone number?
