I paid $150 take the home staging success exam and receive a certificate. This was on 5 August. It is now 30 October and according to the home staging success website, once you submit the exam (which was Mid-Aug), you send a certificate within 7 days. It has now been over 2 months. I continued to email Jackie Riley when I submitted my exam and never heard back until about 3 weeks later. At that time, she said her email wasn't working. But somehow she received my exam that same week. I still never heard back from Jackie after emailing her several times about when I can expect my certificate. Then she responded back about two weeks later saying she was out sick and to expect my certificate in 7 days. It has been over a month, I continue to send her emails and yet have heard no response. Although I bought up that I felt I was ripped off by her, she continued to assure me that I was not. But considering that I still have not received a certificate, I know for certain that I have been ripped off. So for all the professionals out there who are pursuing an affordable certification in home staging be aware of the scam that she has going on with the home staging success course. I am in the military and was looking to be a part time home stager. The army would not pay to go to a home staging certification course so I couldn't afford to pursue that business through an actual program or seminar since they run about $1000, if not more. Home staging success was an option that seemed appealing to me but now I know...save your money and go to an actual professional home staging course rather than waste your money on a scam artist trying to get a quick buck. Thanks, Jackie!
