The Hypertufa How-to Manual, written by Claudia F. Brownlie, will show you how to make beautiful hypertufa objects to use in your garden. You can make stepping stones, spheres, rocks, roughs, sculptures, and pretty much anything you like. If done correctly, your creations will withstand all weather conditions and decorate your garden for years to come.
Hypertufa is pronounced ‘hyper-toofa’ and was first used in the middle of the 19th century. It’s made by mixing together various materials into a mud-like mixture that you can mold and shape in anyway you like. When it’s properly cured (dried) it will set into a hard, relatively light-weight, and freeze-proof ‘cement’.
The Hypertufa How-to Manual will tell you everything you need to know in order to become an expert on hypertufa preparation, curing, and molding.

This is the best information on 'tufa I've ever found! I just finished the Master Gardener's class and this SHOULD HAVE BEEN PART OF IT!
