Simple and non-straining
posted this review on January 23, 2014

My dad recently found out that his blood sugar was shooting up. He doesn’t have diabetes yet, but it’s gonna go to that point if he doesn’t take care of his body right now. He’s already gotten into a healthier diet, but needed a workout plan to follow. He used to run in the morning, so he thought it’s probably not enough since he’s used to heavy workout back from when he was young. Old School, New Body is the first internet workout program we’ve ever tried (I’m a health buff myself), and he likes it. We workout together now, and he uses this system, and it’s perfect for him. His body doesn’t turn sore all the time but the results are evident. I think that’s what’s important for older people.

Old age got a whole new meaning for us!
posted this review on June 29, 2013

My doctor suggested that I exercise to lose some weight. I gained so much weight after retirement because I got addicted to computer games my grandson taught me to play. When you’re retired, you just want to make the days go by as quickly as possible until you can be with your loved ones on holidays. My life changed when my wife and I decided to try Old School, New Body. The first month was extremely difficult. We had to push each other to keep going. We both wanted to quit so badly, but my dear wife had already posted so many photos on Facebook and we didn’t want to let our supporters down. We kept going and going, and before we knew it, our lives have changed significantly. We both lost a lot of weight in a good way and we both feel healthier. We’ve picked up other outdoor activities like hiking and cycling because we just feel so full of energy. Both of us have never tried the healthy lifestyle before. Now we’ve given old age a whole new meaning.

The exercises are easy on the joints
Lester and Jess... (from Vine Grove, USA) posted this review on April 26, 2013

I’m 54 and my wife is 49 yrs. old. We got into fitness a few months ago after I was hospitalized for high blood pressure. My wife was also complaining about painful joints. Just like the Holmans, we embraced fitness quite late in life. For older people, it’s quite difficult using the same fitness programs for the younger ones. It’s a good thing we found this workout program. It doesn’t strain us that much. I don’t feel like I’m dying when I do the exercises, and my wife also doesn’t feel pain in her joints. The impact is minimal. The nutrition information also covers everything we need to know. It’s fantastic.

Got me back on track
Samuel Hitch (from Waco, USA) posted this review on February 2, 2013

I’m 46 years old, and I noticed how much sluggish I’ve become when moving. I used to run a lot, and I even joined marathons before but when I aged, I started gaining weight, and losing the speed and vigor I once had. My wife sometimes said I seemed like an entirely different person from the guy she married. I was always sitting in front of the television or the computer, unlike the man I was in my 20s who was always outdoors running or hiking. Old age caught up with me earlier than I expected.

Old School, New Body gave me the jumpstart I needed to achieve the kind of body I wanted. I may not be as strong or as quick as I was back then, but I’m no longer sluggish, and I’m actually pretty strong for a 40-year old now. The program really takes old age into consideration. I didn’t feel strained at all doing the workouts here, and after 90-days, I was able to try more difficult programs without problems. I’m no longer using this, as I’m already using a more challenging workout program, but if not for this, I wouldn’t be able to get back in shape, and back into the active lifestyle I’ve always loved.

Been using this and it's good
posted this review on October 25, 2012

I’m 44 years old now (just turned 44 3 weeks ago) and I’m using this now. It’s a great system that’s challenging enough, yet not too straining. I used to workout with my son in our home gym, but I couldn’t keep up with him anymore, so I looked for a new workout program that’s made specifically for older people like me. It has exercises that target the needs and abilities of aging people. For me it’s a bit easy because I’ve been working out before, but for those who are just getting started in fitness, this will be just right. I would have wanted to workout more than 90 minutes in a week but I decided to follow everything in the book for now to see if it will work. It worked for me faster than my son’s workout program that works for him. I dunno, probably the body really changes a lot with aging.

Giving this our thumbs up!
posted this review on October 10, 2012

I am 54 yrs. old and in love with this program. I’ve been a fitness buff since I was a young woman, and now that the kids all have their own lives, I decided to reignite my relationship with fitness. I even dragged my husband along with me for early morning runs before we got this protocol to follow. I was a gym addict as a young woman, but since I got older, I preferred doing health and fitness related activities on my own. I know that most trainers only know how to tweak younger bodies. Working on bodies as beat up like mine takes more planning and more care. Anyway, I got this program because obviously, it’s for people my age. I’m sure it’s been more carefully prepared and that it wouldn’t strain my aging muscles and joints. Also, it’s not just a weight loss program, but a shaping/sculpting program as well. My husband and I love this program because it comes with complete instructions including nutritional instructions.

Currently, we are enjoying some results from our 3 month stay with the program. We are still working a bit on our stomachs, but they’ve already started to look so much better than before. I’d like to give this program my thumbs up, and I encourage everyone to give it a try.

I'm pleased with the program
posted this review on April 25, 2013

I’m 47 years old. I wasn’t interested in these health and fitness stuff before, but when I was diagnosed with diabetes I had to embrace the healthy life I really hated. My discipline problems are horrible, so I can’t stick to a rigorous workout program and to a restrictive diet program. This is just what I was looking for. The exercises here are just right. They don’t drive me crazy, so I can stick to them. The key here is to workout less often, more effectively. Very happy with this program and I’m glad fitness gurus still take old people like me into consideration.

All the hard work really paid off
Jake Kelly (from Templeville, USA) posted this review on May 12, 2013

If you’re like me who has always wanted to live healthy and be fit, but didn’t know how, I invite you to grab this opportunity. I’m 58 years old and I have diabetes. I wanted to workout in the gym before but I was scared trainers there wouldn’t know the right way to geriatric fitness. My wife told me there’s no sense in going to the gym because I wouldn’t be able to do as the others do. I got on the internet, and did a little bit of research and that led me to this book. It was meant to be. My wife was laughing at me when I started. I workout from home. It was difficult when I was just starting out. I badly wanted to quit, but my ego wouldn’t allow me to. I think this would be easy for someone younger but for someone who’s about to retire, this isn’t easy. I took it seriously, and when I got used to it, my body was almost addicted to it. Now, I feel a lot younger than I did back when I was in my 40s. I’m more active, there aren’t any tired or fatigued moments. I feel great! All the hard work has really paid off!

The exercises are easy enough for someone with chronic back pain
posted this review on October 11, 2012

I’ve searched high and low for a fitness program suitable for me. I am 56, and over the years of being a bank manager, I gained so much fat around my belly and my chest. I could have just let that go, since I’m an old man anyway, but my doctor advised me to get fit if I don’t want my health issues, such as high cholesterol and chronic back pain to worsen. I wouldn’t say I was a fitness enthusiast when I was younger, but I did have some moments in the gym. That’s until I had my desk job and got glued to it for the rest of my life.

This book features a fitness program that’s easy enough for me, yet very effective. I waited 4 months to leave this feedback because I wanted to make sure about what I’m going to say. Yes, it does work, and it did not aggravate my back condition. The exercises also don’t take up too much time. I allot just a short time for them everyday, but now I only do them twice or thrice a week or just whenever I have time. I’ve seen the results on myself, so I’m confident in recommending this to other people from my age group.

Seems to be working great for my dad
posted this review on July 16, 2013

This isn’t from my personal experience. It’s actually from my dad’s. Several months ago, dad was diagnosed with high cholesterol and blood sugar. He wasn’t diabetic yet, but the doctor said it could get to that if he didn’t start living healthy. He tried jogging, but got bored, so I looked for a good fitness program for him, and I found Old School, New Body. I think he liked how scientific the program seemed to be. He tried it, and now he’s already gotten some results. This program, along with the diet the doctor gave him, are really helping him get healthier. Just the other week he went to the doc again to have his cholesterol and blood sugar levels checked and he got better values than the first time. We just have to keep on reminding him not to overdo the exercises here.

Age is just a number
posted this review on March 25, 2013

There should be no excuses when it comes to fitness. Just because you’re old doesn’t mean you have to rot away on your couch munching on potato chips and drinking soda. That’s not right at all. Some older people think that exercise is bad for them because they have weak bones, but that’s not true. In fact, exercise can strengthen bones if done the right way. Old School, New Body will help you do your exercises right, so you will be able to strengthen your bones and build more mass or lose fat, depending on your need despite of your age. My buddies and I are all above 50 and we’re using this to look hot. My daughters’ friends get shocked when I tell them my age. Feels great looking like a hot old man.

It's safe for older bodies
Jill Hudson (from Richmond, USA) posted this review on March 17, 2013

Old School, New Body is a workout program that’s especially made for older people. A lot of old people like myself think that there’s no way for them to enjoy healthy and fit bodies, but there’s still chance if they give their bodies a chance. I’ve never been a fitness buff in my life, but when I was diagnosed of having high cholesterol levels, I totally changed my mind about fitness. I work really hard on my body now. What I like about Old School, New Body is that the exercises are safe for older bones and muscles. Avoiding injury is one of the priorities of this book because as you age, it becomes more difficult to recover from injuries. With Old School, New Body this is barely a problem as long as you follow the instructions. There is also a nutritional plan included. Old School, New Body is organized into 3 phases, which are F4X Lean, F4X Shape, and F4X Build, and the right pacing for your health level is also included in the book. You will also learn how to determine whether your body is having too little or too much workout. As I’ve said, one important quality of this workout program is that it helps avoid injuries from working out.

It's changed my body and my life
posted this review on April 15, 2014

Older people who are looking for new ways to get fitter and healthier should definitely try this. I started using this just about 3 months back, and it’s definitely changed my body and my life. I used to have some problems with my back and my legs. I couldn’t walk without limping. But that was just before. Now that I’m on the healthy lifestyle, I can already walk straight. My back doesn’t hurt anymore even when I sit in front of the TV for long periods of time. I’m convincing my wife to check this out too because I’m sure it will make her healthier but she’s still happy with her love handles so it might take a bit more time.

Easy and sensible fitness program for older people
posted this review on April 11, 2014

When my wife died of a heart attack, I had minor depression and completely let go of myself. I had a large bulge on my tummy, and I generally looked beat up. My kids urged me to get back in shape because it’s what killed their mom in the first place. My wife loved baking and she baked almost everyday. I’m not that much into sweets, so when we don’t have friends or the kids coming over, she’d eat all her sweets by herself. She ballooned pretty quickly, and we never saw it coming, but I got home from fishing one day and saw her sprawled on the bathroom floor. She didn’t make it to the hospital.

I first found Old School, New Body on a health forum for old people. I was already feeling better about myself then, and I wanted to follow the doctor’s suggestion to look for things I can enjoy, so I can move on and heal more quickly. I chose physical fitness for the sake of my kids. I was so happy when I found Old School, New Body. This definitely changed things for me. It’s just the right workout and fitness program for old people like me. I feel so productive now that I’m working on my health and my kids are really happy too. My bulge has gotten significantly smaller, and I can’t be any happier! This has been the happiest I’ve been in my life since my wife passed on. Thanks to the makers of this course!

This program is just right for me
posted this review on March 31, 2014

When I was younger, I kept on reminding my kids about the importance of having a fit and healthy body. When I got older, I seem to have forgotten my own advice and started falling into the unhealthy lifestyle. This bothered my kids, so they did research and found this program for me. It took some time before I got fully motivated, but now, I’ve already gotten back on track and working on my fitness. It’s amazing how much lighter and healthier I feel now because of Old School, New Body. The program is just right for me.

I suggest seeing a physician before trying the methods here
Jessica May Langley (from Norco, USA) posted this review on February 17, 2014

This program is now helping my husband look 10 years younger. He’s already lost much of the beer belly, and I can really see him shrinking. I would have given this a perfect score, but I can’t do that because my doctor said it’s bad for my condition. This isn’t going to work for older people who have bone mass problems and for those with other abnormal health conditions. If you want to use this to get fit, I highly suggest visiting your physician first for a checkup and then have them check it. I was excited about trying this, so just imagine my disappointment when I found out that it won’t work for my body. Well, at least my husband is looking better now because of this. I still owe this system a lot, I guess.
