The book helped me realize my errors

I cannot say that Keep Your Marriage will be able to help you the way it helped me, but it’s still worth trying. I’ve been married to the same woman for 18 years when she decided on a divorce. We started having problems on our 14th or 15th year together. I was too busy with work then, while she remained at home to take care of the children. I didn’t notice us drifting apart until she started being moody and unreasonable. I got tough days at work too but I enjoyed what I was doing, and that kept me happy. I didn’t realize that my poor wife was already suffering from extreme boredom and minor depression. She’d go on Facebook often and see our old friends having fun with their career, while she remained at home without one, and that’s probably what got to her eventually. She said she wanted a divorce because our marriage wasn’t helping her grow as a person. I was shocked and I tried to stop her, but she moved out that night. Keep Your Marriage was there for me when I needed it. I read up all night on how to revive our marriage over a bottle of beer and an entire pack of tissue paper. Upon learning the methods here, I realized everything I was doing wrong in the marriage and what I could do to correct them. My wife and I are now working on our relationship, and things are looking very promising. There may not be a one size fits all solution for marriage problems, but this indeed helped.
