Metal Method is a very recognizable name among the guitarists. The company has been producing some of the best guitar instructions since 1982 and is directly responsible for many of the great rock and metal guitarists.

The course presented here: Metal Method - Complete Basic Guitar Course (also known as Rock Guitar Lesson Course) is their flagship product. This set of 6 DVDs was proclaimed to be "absolutely essential" by Guitar World Magazine. So what will you get in the package?

Each of the DVDs has 4 lessons and each of these lessons should take you about a week to master. So each DVD will give you about a month's worth of instructions and you should be able to complete all of them in about half a year. Along the way, you'll learn all the chords and techniques that you need to play and form of rock, metal or blues guitar. Yes, even though the company's name is Metal Method that doesn't mean that you'll only learn metal guitar.

All the Metal Method exercises are played at normal speed and at a very slow speed. This will make it easier for you to see exactly what is going on.
